Lou Oakley-Green, one of our current third year student, has been working her socks off this holidays and thoroughly enjoying herself
We restyled the giant chandelier made by Wool and the Gang last year using yarns contributed by West Yorkshire Spinners to compliment The Groucho Club furniture. And, this year one of my biggest tasks was to knit, on site, a 3m x 2.5m backdrop for the DJ booth using Merino wool roving provided by Laxtons Specialist Yarns – knitted on huge poles and hand stitched with gold detail.
The Cheese Hub was packed all weekend and it was an honour to be part of such an amazing team.
