JOY!

We are very lucky to have the most dedicated and committed technical support here at Bath. Not only do they support our students but create their own work too.
This piece is by Joy Merron, our embroidery technical help, and is for Ignite Somerset at the Engine Room in Bridgwater – also known as Somerset Film.
Joy says…
The exhibition, ‘Belonging’ is a response through digital media to our notion of belonging.  My piece is a series of videos filmed on the Levels, investigating our relationship with water and agriculture, the natural and manmade landscape.  These videos have been digitally mapped to project onto 3 angled surfaces.

It’s a development of work initially designed and researched with a bursary from SAW (Somerset Art Works) about the Somerset Levels and Moors a couple of years ago and exhibited at the Black Swan studio spaces.

It’s on display until 8th April and the admission is free
