Up Late at the Holburne Museum, Bath.
Our students thoroughly enjoyed sharing their love and passion for textiles with the wider public.
The 2nd yr’s had responded to the museum collections and their responses and interpretations were on display for all to see and admire.
The feedback was tremendously postive from students and visitors and from the museum staff too.
Here’s to next year.
The students responded to the artifacts, the results were displayed in the museum and a great time was had by all!
The public enjoyed the interaction with the designers and took to trying the craft skills like ducks to water.
The second years are preparing for a celebratory evening – Up Late – at the museum.
It will be a fabulous event as the students show how they, as designers, take inspiration and respond to the collections.
The second year students are working alongside the Holburne Museum and responding to many of the wonderful artefacts on display.
Soon they will reveal their outcomes to the public via an ‘Up Late’ exhibition.
2nd year student Ryoji helps out at the National Arts Centre Tokyo.
So looking forward to hearing all about it when he returns.
