Silk Bureau Winner

 
Third year Student Amelia Anderson is the nationwide winner of the Silk Bureau’s 2017 print competition
Very many congratulations.

Today Amelia, Amanda the course leader and Imelda, a senior lecturer, were treated to an illuminating day at the print studio and on the factory floor.

We were made to feel most welcome and Amelia seeing her design printed was the icing on the cake.

The Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters: Award Winner Natalie Kelly

Natalie Kelly (Third year student Textile Design for Fashion and Interior) wins the company award in recognition of the high standard achieved in a project related to the knitting industry.

Natalie will graduate alongside her contemporaries this June.The show is open to the public.You too are invited.

Winner

We are delighted to share with you 1st year Lucinda Rogers’ winning entry for the Lewis and Wood wallpaper design competition.

A nationwide competition Lucinda’s entry stood out for all the submissions and was a clear winner.Praised for the drawing, colour and distribute Lucinda’s entry attracted much praise and admiration.

Here Lucinda receives wonderful accolades at the launch of the design at Chelsea Harbour

Course Leader Amanda Goode’s commented that Lucinda has a clear vision and true feel for pattern and design.
We know we will see Lucinda’s name in lights in the future.Congratulations.

Isabelle has a beautiful drawing style and her work is attracting great interest,even as a student.Watch out for more of Isabelle’s amazing work in the future.
