We couldn’t resist

In January we visited colleagues in Norway to confirm our exchange agreement and look at good practice.
They welcomed the first of our students there this month.
Thanks for letting us know of your safe arrival Sarah.
Watch out for posts from our happy(and excited) student.

We took a collection of student work over with us and while we were there we couldn’t resist photographing the pieces in this dramatic and beautiful setting.
Here are some outtakes.

Fabulous eh ?

Norway-day 1

It’s not THAT cold for day one of the International Week here at Volda University in Norway.

Really excited to be meeting with the other European Universities and strengthening our international cooperation and exchange programme
It’s always a positive move for our students to spend time living and working in other stimulating environments. We encourage students from across the world to join us too, here in the School of Art and Design in Bath UK, to experience our way of life and work ethic( yes, it is fascinating to other people!).Here’s to a stimulating time.

Preparing for an exciting visit to Norway

Soon I will on my way to create stronger links with one of partner Universities.

We have some exception contacts who are very welcoming and accommodating.

This time last year we visited Poland and had very sucessful meetings concerning collaborations and exchange. This year we are off to the west coast of Norway.

We will be engaged in exchange of ideas, concepts and future thinking. We will then make it all happen! Students watch this space.
