The last few images from our time showing at RHS Hampton Court.
The students are shown chatting to the public as they work on their designs.
We were also selected by exhibiting florists to be a fabulous backdrop to their work too.
Work in progress.
Some of the work the student’s produced while working at the show.
It’s a wonder they managed to produce any practical work as the enquiries came thick and fast.
It was so exciting and reassuring to see, and listen to, the students so capably responding to the questioning.Well done to you all.
The image above is of one of the many press who came to record and write about our work
It was so very enjoyable for both students and staff to exhibit and design at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show during July 2017
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd years took the opportunity to talk about their design work and explain the creative process to the 1,000’s of people who visited our stand.
The weather was glorious and it seemed everyone was dressed in their best summer attire, drinking Pimms and enjoying the holiday mood.
We made some wonderful contacts and have, since our return, firmed up jobs, commissions and projects.
We had the most wonderfully successful time at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show, July 2017……and the weather could not have been more glorious.
While we were showing work, painting and drawing, inside the marquee, Woodhouse and Law worked their magic outside in the three glasshouses
See their write up here
Working with and supplying beautiful props, and carefully selected garden adornments, the team skilfully arranged the student’s textile products inside the glasshouses to create three individual settings of great charm and appeal.
Thank you Woodhouse and Law for your commitment, enthusiasm and extensive knowledge; attributes that you are so willing to share.Thank you.
Here’s a LINK too to the marvellous glasshouses
9 times Gold Medal winner at the RHS Paul Hervey-Brookes tweets about the work from students on Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors, at Bath School of Art and Design.
We are delighted you enjoyed it Paul. Thank you.
