Private View at Woodhouse and Law

We had a marvellous time last evening at the Woodhouse and Law/Bath School of Art collaboration.

The opening of the textile show, featuring the work of six soon to graduate students, was fabulously received.
Nick and John were generous hosts and made everyone feel most welcome and relaxed. The wine flowed and contacts and ‘friends of textiles’ developed.

Thank you too to Penny Hopkins for ensuring the evening ran smoothly and that the conversation was stimulating and engaging.

The show is on for another two weeks.

If you miss this then come along to the School of Art to see all the departments degree shows. It’s an event not to miss.
Details to the right.

Competition…wheeeeee.

Five reasons…..
why we are running a competition.
1.It is summer, well this week looks promising.
2.We love the student designs for Anthropologie Europe
3.Everyone knows how to take a selfie, yes ?
4.Anthropologie Europe are opening an innovative and exciting store in Bath UK
5.Hipsters have already taken the lead and started the trend by photographing themselves beside their favourite design.
and YES, that’s what we want you to do.

Get along to 1-4 New Bond Street Bath, the site of the new Anthropologie store, and photograph yourself, or get a pal to snap you,in front of your favourite design.
Easy eh ? The difficult bit is making the choice.
Which is your favourite ?
The competition runs until 29th May at midnight when, ahem…pretty soon afterwards, we will announce the winners.
There will be one prize for the designer of the most phographed design and one prize for the person featured in the photograph and who has responded to the design in the most mad coolio way

Get snappy
