We’re absolutely delighted to hear third year textile student Lydia Knight’s wonderful news.
She has WON this years Whittards design competition.
We couldn’t be happier for her.So well deserved.
Lydia specialises in exquisite coloured illustrations of flora and fauna.
We look forward to seeing her work on sale in March 2016 in all branches of Whittards.
Last year we had equal success when second year textile student Rhian Beynon also won and she too was thrilled to see her design on sale.
Her work sold out almost immediately,it was so popular.
Here’s a link to the post Rhian’s post
We couldn’t be more excited for 2nd year textile design student Rhian.
Yesterday she went to London for the launch of the tea caddy she designed for Whittards.
She really enjoyed meeting the head of media, the tea tasting and the cake they provided in celebration.
They’re restocking stores as it’s been such a popular design, the current best seller, selling out in Covent Garden!.++++ they’ve extended the time it will be on sale for.
I’m out tomorrow to buy one for our textile kitchen before they sell out again
