Right in the centre of the city 3rd year textiles student Amy has taken a ‘centre stage shop front’ and trialled her latest project.
Moving into shop and window display Amy is in the process of testing out the reaction, from the general public, to her concepts and ideas.
We are excited to see what Amy will pull out of the hat next. Go Amy.
One of the many quirky, fascinating animals Isobelle Ancient made so carefully for her end of year show. The jointed figures featured beautifully worked textile techniques such as smocking and embroidery.
The finished pieces were carefully displayed in made boxes and on shelves. They looked delightful.
Graduate Tabitha Cottrell always displayed her ideas and inspiration in an inspiring way in her studio space and she didn’t disappoint when it came to displaying her work in the end of year show. Here is an image of the backdrop to her handmade animals.
