JO r

Dr. Jo Turney

One of the most appealing and appreciated modules on the textiles course is Contextual studies, which is managed and presented by Dr.Jo Turney.

The module helps the student to develop their interest and knowledge of textiles and relate it within a wider contemporary social and historical context.
Jo makes this subject come alive in the lecture theatre, during tutorials and out on fields trips both here and abroad.

Alongside her lecturing commitment Jo is a dedicated author on subjets related to her interests.
The books are available to purchase here.
