Craftspace

In:site Festival 2019. September 2019 which took place in Birmingham UK city centre, in the grounds of St Philip’s Cathedral.

The public engaged with a selected group of designer/ makers from across the UK, and beyond, who were showing, demonstrating and sharing their craft skills.

They worked with clay, fabric, yarn and wood/acrylic.
I was thrilled to meet up with this year’s graduate Ryoji Morimoto before he returns to Japan next week. ✈️
He had produced such beautiful, coloured, engaging prints that it drew people in to have a closer 👀 .
They immediately began to stitch their favourite good luck symbol onto a working quilt.
The very best of luck 🍀 Ryoji on your career path as it unfolds in Japan
Thank you for being the most generous, kind, talented and thoughtful person during your three years with us in Bath.
Our loss is 🇯🇵 gain.

This opportunity is brought to the city each year by Craftspace.
