The second years have a deadline.
It’s all systems go to the finish line and the assessment.
Things are looking really good.
The outcomes will eventually be saleable products for the general public.
Many congratulations to 3rd year student Amelia who has won the Silk Bureau design competition.
We will feature an interview with Amelia when she has come down from cloud 9.
Amelia is so looking forward to visiting the company and seeing her work printed and upholstered onto a chair.
This will then feature at New Designers.

Good luck to this year’s graduate Sophie Dickinson as she starts her first design studio job in Manchester.
Sophie’s amazing drawing skills and brave use of scale and colour make her an accomplished and skilled designer.
All the very best Sophie.
Catching up with Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors alumni Charlotte Coley.
Her beautiful animal illustrations are for sale here on Etsy
Here realistic portraits decorated with floral garlands are a must for any animal lover.
Catch them while you can.
