Having the Abbey as our venue and the world heritage city of Bath as our backdrop it will always be a pucker occasion!
We had a wonderful, personal ceremony.Congratulations to all the graduating students

Sadly we can’t photograph in the magnificent show but we can show you pictures of us taking the sun and having tea! Having a wonderful time with the whole department.

We are always keen and excited to show our work. Here we ‘lifted’ the studio and transplanted it into the heart of London during London Design Festival.
The students worked on projects and displayed finished outcomes.Talking to potential employers and purchasers is great experience as they launch their careers.
Our 1st year students particularly enjoyed the trip to Bristol yesterday. We looked at street culture, independent shops and galleries,co-operatives, grafitti exhibitions and a scrapstore.Fabulous.We also made some exciting contacts and possible collaborations
Our Japanese students particularly loved the contrast to Bath. They love both places plus the food too.
A good time was had by all.
The greetings cards, wrapping paper, tags and ribbons brief is always eagerly waited. The 2nd year students appreciate this diversion from a typical textile brief. We are so lucky to be welcomed by a world renowned company into their studio and to hear first hand about the workings of international design organisation.
Last week the 1st year students enjoyed an overnight stay in London.During this time we packed in exhibitions, gallery visits, and shows.Plus of course some getting to know you time. They are a great bunch of people.
The images were taken at Southwalk Cathedral where a fomer (Mary Goodman) and present student( Rebecca Connolly) are showing in this presitigious exhibition
